We will stay in the Cotswolds (Chipping Campden probably) and I wonder if anyone can tell me how long it would take to get to Stonehenge and back. We plan to do in one day. What better way would we take? We are probably more interested in the scenic route. Thank you. Well, I have your answer here. Depending on the location in the Cotswolds you stay, it should take 1 approx. 5am – 2am. Of course, it also depends if you plan to make stops along the route. Why not request a route from a motoring organization, AA / RAC, compare with a map and decide where to go next. Somtimes we do and it is more enjoyable than just after the line-up.

About 2 hrs. If you like ancient stones why don't you also look up the Rollright Stones nr. Chipping Campden? Very interesting too, though obviously very different than Stonehenge.
